
- Day 1: LYON
Arrival by TGV (2 hrs) from Paris in the morning. Guided tour of the Capital of gastronomy in France (Unesco Heritage site). Lunch in a typical Bouchon Lyonnais “Café des Fédérations”. Discovery of the Old Lyon and the Presqu’île. Dinner at the Brasserie l’OUEST (Paul Bocuse). Overnight stay at Royal Hotel****, Villaflorentine****L, La Cour des Loges****.
- Day 2: BEAUJOLAIS VINEYARDS
Morning, DEPARTURE TO THE WINE ROAD OF Beaujolais; visit a winery at Château de la Chaize in Odenas and wine tasting. Gastronomic lunch at Château de Bagnols****, one of the most beautiful château hotels in France.
Discovery of the medieval village, Oingt, in the Golden stones area, among the most magnificient villages of France.
Then visit the Château de Montmelas and wine tasting.
Return to Lyon, dinner and enjoy Lyon by night, City of lights.
- Day 3: COTES DU RHONE VINEYARDS
Departure to Tain l’Hermitage, to the Côtes du Rhone vineyard capital.
Wine tasting at the Ecole des Vins Châpoutier in Tain or visit the famous VINEUM Jaboulet in Chateauneuf sur Isère.
Lunch at the Esplan in Saint Paul Trois Châteaux, menu special truffles!
Truffle hunting (period from December to March) at the Domaine de Bramarel in Grignan (truffle farm).
Visit the Castle of Grignan, one of the most beautiful Renaissance castle of South France.
Gastronomic dinner at Le Domaine du Colombier in Malataverne.
Overnight stay in Malataverne.
- Day 4: COTES DU RHONE VINEYARDS – ARDECHE GORGES
Departure to Nyons, capital of Olives.
Visit of the lavender manufacture, Bleu de Provence, or visit the old mill (olive oil tasting).
Lunch at the Petit Caveau in Nyons.
Enjoy the magnificient landscape of lavender around Nyons… (Period June-July).
Then continuation to the Ardeche gorges, stunning natural site (Pont d’Arc, Vallon…). Stop at Balazuc, romantic village of the Ardeche. Dinner and overnight stay.
